It is difficult at times, to separate feelings when you step into such a precious day in someone’s life. In this industry we face that nearly every weekend, and some are more challenging than others. When it came to Pamela & RJ’s wedding, we knew very early on this was going to be a wedding that hit closer to home, because by the end of our time with them, capturing their unforgettable wedding day in Santa Barbara, they felt more like family than anything else.
Pamela & RJ brought out much of the crew for this special day, with Nathan, Evan, and Frank on Video, Alex and Jason on Photo, and Thamer as their Same Day Editor. Our day ended where it so fruitfully began, at the incredible grounds of The Fess Parker DoubleTree in Santa Barbara, California. Our wedding videographers and photographers were high on excitement upon arrival, and it only went up as the day progressed. We were sure to capture some special messages before we moved onto a wonderful First Look at the Parker’s rotunda, and then we were off to Pam & RJ’s dream-like ceremony on the beach. There was nothing but unconditional, familial love in the air; simply perfect. And after all the family portraits were done, we made use of the beach view for some killer romantics. The remainder of the night was as you can imagine, just as spectacular as what came before—including specifically, a terrific performance by Pamela & RJ’s lovely daughter. And for the cherry on top, the only way we know how do it—Prince Weddings style—was to present to everyone their Same Day Edit, beautiful highlights of what may have been a day gone in a blur.
